Your learning never depends on an account.
Without an account
Progress is stored only in your browser. It is not sent to the server.
With synchronization
If you choose GitHub, we use the account identifier, name, and verified email to authenticate you, technical sessions to maintain access, and lesson progress to synchronize your devices. OAuth tokens are encrypted.
We do not store: avatars, written code, badges, or detailed history.
We retain this data while you keep the account. Sessions expire after seven days; deleting the account immediately removes the identity, OAuth accounts, sessions, and synchronized progress.
Providers
Cloudflare hosts the site and the D1 database, restricted to the European Union jurisdiction. GitHub authenticates the account. Better Auth is software operated by El Rusticiero, not an external data recipient.

Your controls
From Account you can export or erase progress, sign out, and permanently delete the account. Deletion also removes sessions and synchronized progress.
Import files are read and validated in your browser: the original file is not uploaded. If you are signed in, only the resulting progress is synchronized.
